Whether it’s only half a day or a full weekend, you and your hunting party are sure to have a memorable time together.
Quail, Chukar and Pheasant
Skylark’s open fields and breathtaking views contain abundant native prairie grasses and milo, creating an ideal habitat for some of the best upland bird hunting in Virginia. Also, open stands of pine, field borders and feed strips are teeming with prime upland birds. Choose from one of Skylark’s packages or customize your own hunt.
Each hunting party will have unique desires and needs concerning dogs, guns and shot. Skylark has these resources available for you as needed, and we’re flexible to create the best hunt experience for you based on your requests. Accommodations
Situated near Skylark Summit and its awe-inspiring 360-degree views, Skylark’s comfortable lodge and accommodations provide a wonderful resting place before and after your hunt. We offer a variety of housing options — contact us so we can best fit the specifics of your hunt. All accommodations come with a full kitchen so your can prepare your own breakfast and dinner (Skylark provides lunch with all hunting packages).

Season Dates
Join Skylark for some of the best upland bird hunting in Virginia from September 1 through April 30.
Packages & Rates
Half day: $275 per person
Includes one morning or afternoon guided hunt, 30 quail, two pheasant, five chukar, cleaning and packaging of game, as well as lunch. Four hunter minimum.
Full day: $495 per person
Includes one morning and one afternoon guided hunt, 60 quail, four pheasant, 10 chukar, cleaning and packaging of game, as well as lunch. Three hunter minimum. Overnight accommodations can be added for $100 per person.
Weekend: $1,150 per person
Arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon — includes four guided hunts, 120 quail, eight pheasant, 20 chukar, cleaning and packaging of game, as well as two lunches. You may bring food for additional meals, or if you prefer, we are able to suggest quality catering options to serve you. Four hunter minimum.
